Read input in a single line and split the values into two variables

x, y = map(int, input().split())

x, y = map(int, input().split()): This line reads a single line of input from the user. It expects two integers separated by a space. The input() function reads the entire line as a string, and then split() method splits the string into a list of substrings based on whitespace characters. map(int, …) is used to convert each element of the list to an integer. Finally, x and y are assigned the first and second elements of the list, respectively.
